Overview In the context of remote work and distributed teams, nurturing team spirit and maintaining a shared corporate culture becomes especially important. To address this challenge, Mara Studio stepped in as a team-building event agency and designed an interactive experience that brought people together through storytelling, play, and collaboration.
Client & Task The client wanted to strengthen connections between team members working remotely and across different locations. The key objective was to create a format where everyone could actively participate, feel included, and reconnect with the company’s culture in an engaging way.
Concept & Game Mechanics At the heart of the event was a custom-built team game centered around the rescue of Rix, Playrix’s beloved dragon mascot. Participants were divided into dynamic teams and embarked on a three-hour quest filled with tasks, challenges, and artifacts. Carefully designed mechanics ensured that every participant played a meaningful role, turning the experience into one of those truly corporate team-building events where no one stays on the sidelines.
Celebration & Atmosphere Once Rix was safely rescued, the experience naturally evolved into a lively celebration. Live music, interactive game zones, and energetic dancing continued the narrative and kept engagement high. The event transcended cultural and language barriers, welcoming a multicultural and multilingual audience into a warm, informal environment — a defining feature of our engaging corporate events.
Result The project demonstrated how thoughtfully designed internal corporate events can bridge distances and bring distributed teams closer together. Through play, shared goals, and emotional involvement, participants formed genuine connections, reinforcing communication and team cohesion well beyond the event itself.
