Once Upon A Holiday Night
Organizing holiday events across multiple countries always comes with a mix of excitement and complexity. In December 2024, we delivered five New Year and holiday celebrations in five different cities for one company, each shaped by its location, audience, and local atmosphere, yet connected by a shared intention: to bring people together and end the year on a warm, human note.
From Limassol to Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona, and Belgrade, these events were designed as moments of pause, connection, and shared experience for international teams.
In Limassol, the celebration unfolded at a luxury resort and leaned into a sense of Christmas familiarity. A Secret Santa exchange set a gentle tone for the evening, while a live cover band, relaxed lounge areas, and a festive photo booth encouraged conversation and unhurried connection. The focus here was comfort and togetherness, allowing guests to enjoy the evening at their own pace.
Amsterdam offered a more playful interpretation of the holidays. Hosted in a venue overlooking the city, the event blended subtle references to Willy Wonka and Santa into an interactive format. Guests decorated ornaments, joined karaoke and music bingo, and moved through an experience where activities, visuals, and branding were carefully aligned. The atmosphere remained light and engaging without feeling overwhelming.
In Prague, the setting itself shaped the evening. The city’s winter mood inspired a celebration that felt cinematic but approachable. Santa and Willy Wonka welcomed guests into a program that included themed quizzes, a dedicated photo zone, and an energetic dance floor that naturally became the center of the night. The event evolved gradually, allowing the atmosphere to build as guests settled in.
Barcelona brought a more dynamic rhythm. The celebration combined familiar holiday characters with interactive zones, including a photo quest, gaming, and creative activities. Guests could choose how they wanted to engage, whether through movement, play, or conversation.
The series concluded in Belgrade, where the focus shifted toward expression and spontaneity. A dance battle blending jazz and hip-hop became an unexpected highlight, complemented by gingerbread decorating, music bingo, and a lively quiz. The evening felt open and informal, creating space for creativity and shared enjoyment as the final celebration of the tour.
Across all five cities, the approach remained consistent: thoughtful venue selection, concepts adapted to each location, careful coordination, and attention to detail. Rather than replicating a single format, each event was shaped around the people attending it.
