OverviewMara Studio delivered an open international cultural festival for the Great British Embassy, welcoming more than 150,000 attendees. The project became a large-scale public celebration of British culture and a prominent example of international event production delivered at city-festival scale.
Client & TaskThe objective was to create an accessible, high-impact cultural event that would showcase the diversity of the UK’s creative, culinary, and artistic scenes while ensuring smooth navigation and comfort for a massive audience. The scale and public nature of the festival required flawless coordination across all zones and partners.
Concept & FormatThe festival was structured into more than 60 zones, grouped into thematic blocks that reflected different aspects of British culture. This modular format allowed guests to explore the event freely while maintaining logical flow across the one-hectare territory.
Key Zones & ExperienceMara Studio was responsible for organizing and managing several core areas:
- a large-scale food court representing British culinary culture
- a dedicated press area for media and partners
- a children’s zone designed for family engagement
In parallel, we ensured partner collaboration, handled artist booking and rider management, and supervised full branding and decoration of the space. Complex navigation systems were implemented to support smooth guest flow throughout the festival.
Our RoleThe project required precise event management services and comprehensive event logistics coordination. Our team oversaw operations across all areas, ensuring alignment between content, partners, artists, and infrastructure. We also worked closely with media and opinion leaders to strengthen the festival’s visibility and public reach.
ResultThe festival became a landmark cultural event, successfully engaging more than 150,000 guests and showcasing British culture on a grand scale. The project stands as a polished example of large-format international event delivery, combining creativity, structure, and operational excellence.
