OverviewTowards the end of summer, Mara Studio hosted an easygoing corporate summer party for an IT company, known as Churros Day. Designed as a relaxed alternative to classic themed events, it offered a light, informal format focused on connection and unwinding after a busy season.
Client & TaskThe client wanted a simple, cheerful summer gathering that would encourage informal networking and suit an international team. The key requirement was to avoid obvious cultural clichés and create a neutral, welcoming atmosphere for colleagues from different backgrounds.
Concept & AtmosphereInstead of leaning into traditional Spanish or Mexican themes, the concept was built around a street-festival mood. English and Polish naturally became the main languages of communication, reflecting the company’s diverse team. A DJ-curated playlist of groovy tunes kept the energy upbeat throughout the day, while thoughtful catering supported a relaxed, social rhythm.
Key Experience ElementsThe highlight of the event was deliberately simple:
- freshly made churros cooked on site and served straight from the street
- buckets of ice-cold beer to match the summer heat
- casual food and drinks, encouraging guests to mingle freely
These details helped shape the event into one of those engaging corporate events that feel effortless for guests while remaining carefully planned behind the scenes.
ResultChurros Day became one of those genuinely memorable corporate events that neatly close the summer season: relaxed, well-organized, and centered on people enjoying time together away from their screens. It perfectly reflected the kind of atmosphere we aim to create as an event agency for IT companies.
