High wind speed and Grandmaster strategy

How a creative strategy turned a top-tier regatta into a next-level experience.

MICE projects of this scale require surgical precision in planning. Our challenge was to find a secluded location with breathtaking scenery for 150 guests, making every individual feel like the main protagonist—cared for with absolute attention to detail. The core concept: immerse the team in Montenegro's authentic atmosphere, delivering not just a corporate retreat but a deep, rejuvenating experience.

A three-act concept

Act 1: Immersion

Five days of carefully paced storytelling: from serene moments on a regatta and at the Savina winery (reached by boat through WWII submarine tunnels) to high-energy competitive activities like paintball and a cable car ride up to Lovćen National Park. Once the guests truly unwound, we seamlessly introduced value-driven sessions through Q&As and strategic meetups without disrupting the flow.

Act 2: The chess gambit

Right before the gala dinner, we introduced an intellectual highlight. The strategic wow-moment of the evening was an exclusive blindfold chess session with Ian Nepomniachtchi, two-time World Championship runner-up in classical chess and the reigning World Blitz Champion. He played simultaneous blindfold games, winning all four—yet leaving every participant feeling like a winner.

Act 3: A shared aftertaste

We brought together team members from four international offices, turning initial introductions into a unified company culture. A connected, energized client team enjoyed every moment while we quietly managed the complex logistics behind the scenes (and perhaps even negotiated with the weather).

BY THE NUMBERS

  • 5 days in Montenegro with full-cycle MICE execution
  • 13 yachts in a sailing regatta across the Bay of Kotor
  • 18 events under one project.
  • 8.7 / 10 Client Satisfaction Index (CSI)

Key win: Unifying over 100 people from various locations who had never met in person before.

Key feedback: Guests praised the flawless 5-day logistics involving multi-country travel, alongside a logical, immersive program.

Key takeaway: We don't just look for new event ideas—we maintain a top-tier standard of execution while creating meaningful experiences.
