The goal: Not to impress, but to create space for effortless connectio
There is a type of event where the main metric isn't the number of guests, but the depth of the conversations. Mara Studio curated a four-day private program in Catalonia for six C-level partners (NDA here isn't a limitation, but a core part of the service). The brief was unusual for an event agency: don't overwhelm with luxury; instead, help build and strengthen relational capital.
In formats like this, value comes not from the cost, but from the environment: privacy, trust, shared emotions, flawless hospitality, and above all, room for the kind of conversations that never happen in a boardroom. The guests didn't need to spend a single second worrying about where they were going next, who was driving them, what to wear, or when to leave. Their only focus was enjoying the moment.
The four-day itinerary was built around exclusive premium experiences: a private tour of Casa Batlló, a helicopter flight, a boat trip, a buyout of a top-tier restaurant for a dinner of six, a winery visit, golf, and wellness. The culmination of the culinary journey was an exclusive buyout of Albert Adrià’s Michelin-starred Enigma in Barcelona, where guests dined surrounded by its iconic cloud-like, futuristic interior. Paired daily with fine dining, every single detail served a business goal: making partners feel exceptionally valued, while allowing the client to focus entirely on deepening relationships while we handled everything behind the scenes.
The planning took place during the peak holiday season, when half of Europe is away and the other half responds with "let's touch base after the holidays." The deadline was tight, and the wishlist was long. The client was thrilled — which, for a private format, is perhaps the only metric that truly counts. For us, it’s another turnkey Exclusive Experience added to our portfolio: executed worldwide with absolute confidentiality, round-the-clock support, transparent project management, and access to moments guests could rarely organize on their own.
